This is a full-time, benefit eligible position that works to meet the Athletic Department's needs in the area of graphic design and production. This position will be responsible for creating innovative graphic identity for all 20 sports while maintaining the brand and image of Mizzou Athletics. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the design, layout and preparation of distinctive graphics incorporating branded elements for Mizzou Athletics while maintaining the graphic integrity of the established brand; develops illustrations for logos, presentations, multimedia projects, ribbon boards, billboards and presentations; consults with clients or supervisors on the planning, illustration and viewing of graphic layouts finding graphical solutions while working through design challenges, effects and techniques; assist in the preparation of individual materials and project operating budget(s); manage project timelines maintaining on-time and on-budget delivery of finished products; work with producers, directors and production staff to create a professional look and maintain accuracy in all graphics; may source, negotiate and manage production crews for custom productions and/or freelance employees when workload requires; may assign and review the work of artistic support staff. A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
