Ottawa University, Kansas (NAIA) seeks a full-time assistant football coach. This position includes coaching responsibilities as an offensive coach. Applicants with a background in offensive coordinating experience will receive priority consideration. This coach will be responsible for organizing all phases of the football program as assigned by the Head Football Coach. Other responsibilities include recruitment of student-athletes to a liberal arts institution that places a high priority on academics and diversity.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree required, Masters Degree preferred. At least three years of successful coaching experience is required. Qualified candidates must demonstrate an ability to coach successfully at the college level, as well as possess an understanding of and a commitment to academic and athletic excellence. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate a commitment to the NAIA Champions of Character values, as well as, the Code of Ethics that has been put forth by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA).
