This position is funded through the department of Health & Human Performance with a specific assignment to the Department of Athletics, beginning in August and ending in May. Position can be extended for a second year based on academic and administrative performance evaluation. Stipend of $8,500.00 (paid biweekly over 10 months) and tuition assistance (9 graduate hours per semester scholarship).
This position will be under the supervision of the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. The successful candidate will assist with planning and implementing all strength, agility, speed and conditioning sessions for all sports. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, supervision of weight rooms, maintenance of equipment, record keeping and other duties assigned as needed.
Other duties as assigned and subject to change based on skills of applicant and needs of the Department of Athletics and Health & Human Performance. Job responsibilities will include limited teaching within the Department of Health & Human Performance.
