Position Summary: The Assistant Defense Football Coach will help assist in daily operations of the Football Program. This is a 12 month, full time position with Arkansas Tech University.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Defensive coach Recruitment and development of student athletes Community relations both in and outside the university. Responsible for overseeing all aspects with the guidelines set forth by Arkansas Tech University, the Great American Conference, and the NCAA. Participation in fund-raising, operation of summer camps, community and alumni relations/cultivation expected. Other duties as assigned by Head Coach to also include the Director of Athletics
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of the NCAA Division II rules and regulations Excellent oral and written communication skills Computer skills
Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree, working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, experience with Hudl. Minimum of two years of College Coaching
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree preferred or related field Collegiate coaching experience Hudl knowledge
