Responsible and accountable for establishing, administrating and maintaining an educationally and fiscally sound, highly competitive, national program and performing those duties customarily performed by a head soccer coach of a university holding the aforementioned position. Plan and implement all phases of a competitive national level NCAA Division 1 soccer program, including student athlete recruitment; scheduling; conducting practice sessions; conditioning programs, and public relations activities; scouting and game preparation, under the general supervision and as prescribed by the orders, advice and direction of the University's Athletics Director.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum five years of soccer coaching experience. Strong interpersonal, administrative and recruiting skills sets. Experience with NCAA Division I Rules and Regulations. Ability to be involved with the overall operation of the program, including, but not limited to coaching, recruiting, administration, compliance and student-athlete development. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
This is a full time position with evenng and weekend hours required.
