POSITION: Instructor (non-tenure track) or Assistant Professor (tenure track) of Recreation, nine-month position beginning August 2017.
DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will teach primarily recreation courses in the Department of HPER/AT. Other duties include, but are not limited to, coordinating the outdoor specialist degree program and general recreation degree program, advising recreation majors and minors, supervising the field experience program, assisting program faculty with preparation for program accreditation, and building and maintaining collaborative relations with local, state and regional agencies.

HPER: The department offers the following undergraduate degrees: B.S.E. in Health & Physical Education; B.S. in Recreation, B.S. in Sport Management and a B.S. in Health & Human Performance. Graduate degrees include a M.S.E. in Advanced Instructional Studies with a concentration in Physical Education, and M.S in Sport Administration.
