Corvus American Academy is seeking a candidate to fill the position of International Head Coach for Track & Field. The International Head Coach position is a key leadership role for an individual who understands the role of athletics within an international boarding school.
Reporting to the Head of School and Track & Field Partner, the International Head Coach will oversee all student-athlete training and supervise a staff of assistant coaches in all disciplines of track & field and cross country. The International Head Coach will travel with student-athletes to competitions within India and internationally, including trips to train and compete in the United States.
The International Head Coach must embrace the philosophy that Academics and Athletics are of equal importance and that the quality of education provided to students must not be secondary. Academics are a requirement and Athletics are a privilege!

Development and implementation of training curriculum and practice plans for all disciplines essential
Must be a Non-Indian National
Must have a University Degree from a known College and have a US College network
At least two years’ experience playing or coaching at the NCAA level or above
Some international experience either playing or coaching preferred
Must be willing to relocate to India and live on campus (housing provided)
Committed to the development of scholar athletes
Ability to speak with parents both during recruiting and after enrolment
Understanding the importance of fitness and nutrition essential
Team player dedicated to the mission and vision of Corvus American Academy
Willing to sign a two-year contract
Experience with the evaluation of employees ie. Junior/Assistant Coaches
Experience coaching middle/high school athletes is an asset
Experience running and organizing residential summer/holiday camps is an asset
Meets the criteria to obtain an Employment Visa for entry into India
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: Position includes furnished private residence; subsidized meal plan in sport-nutrition dining hall; health insurance; and travel costs to/from India.
