The Athletics Compliance Coordinator will monitor compliance with NCAA, OVC and EKU rules and regulations.
Monitor student-athlete financial aid; accounting in areas involving coaches, prospective student-athletes and student-athletes (e.g. recruiting expenses); camps and clinics; official and unofficial visits; book scholarship program
Educate student-athletes and department members about NCAA and OVC rules and regulations through various methods (e.g. rule education meetings)
Utilize University student software program (e.g., Banner), NCAA CAi and LSDBi, JumpForward, and other software programs as necessary
Complete NCAA and OVC documentation as required and according to established procedures
Develop, monitor, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
Maintain thorough knowledge of and comply with all NCAA, OVC and EKU rules, regulations and operating procedures
Seek interpretations from the NCAA and OVC regarding NCAA and OVC rules as necessary
Format and distribute reports as required, including but not limited to NCAA and OVC reports
Maintain required databases and spreadsheets for department as directed
Prepares applications for reimbursement to student-athletes
Prepares applications for fund usage requested by athletics department personnel
Monitors all transactions to insure NCAA compliance
Reconciles transaction records with Banner activity to maintain accurate account balances
Provides documents to Internal Audits for preparation of year-end report
Other compliance duties as required and/or assigned
One year of experience in athletics administration at the Division I level is preferred, especially NCAA Division I compliance experience
Experience with NCAA CAi, LSDBi and the Eligibility Center is preferred

Richmo...nd, the county seat of Madison County, is one of the Commonwealth's fastest-growing cities, with about 33,000 residents. The community provides an excellent environment for the university student and boasts a regional shopping mall, theaters, live entertainment, fine dining, cultural events and activities, as well as many areas of historic and scenic interest. Fort Boonesborough State Park, birthplace of Kentucky, is located 12 miles to the north. Many other historical sites are within easy driving distance. Scenic and recreational areas surround this section of the state.
