Coaching, Coaching - Cross Country, Coaching - Track & Field
Golden West College is seeking an Assistant Coach for the Women's XC and Track & Field programs. This is a volunteer position leading to a paid position. This seasonal position (typical work schedule mid-August through mid-May) will assist the Head Coach of Cross Country/Track & Field in all phases of the program, including recruiting, coaching, training, with a particular emphasis on coaching distance events and cross country. All department employees are required to demonstrate exemplary ethical conduct and conformance to CCCAA and NCAA rules and regulations. Employees in coaching positions are required to pass the CCCAA Compliance exam and LiveScan Screening.
Minimum of an AA degree and 6 years coaching experience at the high school and/or collegiate level, or equivalent experience at the national team level; collegiate coaching experience preferred; and/or elite competitive experience.
Specific experience coaching and/or competing middle distance/distance events/cross country.
Strong organizational; writing; interpersonal; oral communication, and computer skills needed.
