The University of Oklahoma seeks a qualified professional with the energy and work ethic to excel as our Assistant Athletics Director Business Operations. The successful applicant will combine proven financial and leadership skills with a determination to provide our student-athletes with resources necessary to compete for championships, to excel in the classroom and to prepare for successful lives after graduation.
Areas of oversight and direct responsibilities include but not limited to purchasing, travel, foundation activity, payroll reports, budget, internal financial reporting, financial analysis, monitoring of internal controls, reconciliation of fixed assets, and reporting to NCAA, Big 12, and Department of Education. Assistant AD Business Operations will directly report to the Senior Associate AD/CFO and has direct supervisory responsibilities and oversight for multiple full time business office staff.

Required Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education/job related experience AND:
24-36 months of accounting/business experience (Preferably in Division I athletics)
Proficient navigating and maintaining databases
Advanced excel skills with ability to build and manipulate spreadsheets
Financial or accounting experience to include analysis, auditing and budgeting
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Must be able to supervise staff and communicate directions and expectations effectively
Advertised Physical Requirements:
Must be able to climb, crouch, pull, push, reach, stand, engage in repetitive motions, move, feel, touch, communicate, hear and see, including color, depth perception and clarity.
A master's degree or CPA certification is preferred
