The position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the softball program. The candidate will work closely with the coaching staff and athletic administration to promote Harvard Athletics’ mission of academic integration and competitive excellence in Division I athletics.
The main duties of the position include administrative support, general operations and travel management. •Operations include the assistance of the overall administration of the softball program. Management of facilities (softball field, hitting pavilion, softball locker room, softball offices) •General operations include communication with operations manager and visiting teams for all home game day logistics. •Travel management coordination which may include booking and confirmation of hotels, ground transportation, itinerary organization, and meals for all home and away contests.
The supplementary duties of this job entail recruit data entry, video, equipment, and Alumnae communication and coordination.
This job will be full-time when in season.
