The Academic Services Coordinator is responsible for managing the academic progress of all student athletes.
Work directly with student athletes for the purpose of teaching them study skills, providing them with academic counseling and tutoring, and monitoring their academic progress in each class and toward their degree.
Perform administrative duties, such as alerting coaches and administration of potential student athlete academic problems; and calculating Academic Progress Rate, Federal Graduation Rate, and NCAA Graduation Success rate.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required: Knowledge of NCAA rules; knowledge of University graduation requirements; ability to operate a computer, copy machine, and printer.
Preferred: Master's degree as well as teaching or counseling experience; experience working as part of an athletic department at a Division I university; prior experience in an athletic academic services department.
