The Airway Heights Parks & Recreation Department is in the process of constructing phase one of the Airway Heights Recreation Complex. The project is scheduled to be completed in March of 2019. Phase one develops approximately 12 acres of the 70 acre site and includes the construction of an indoor Recreation Center.

Experience and training Guidelines:
Possess a bachelor's degree in Recreation or a related field.
Must possess and maintain current Lifeguard and Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certifications.
Minimum 3 years of lifeguard and pool supervisory experience.
Must possess and maintain current instructor certifications for Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, AED and Oxygen Administration.
Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Washington State driver’s license.
Must be First Aid and CPR certified.

The City of Airway Heights is located in Spokane County in Eastern Washington. Airway Heights shares a boundary to the east with the City of Spokane and is centrally located between Spokane International Airport to the east and Fairchild Air Force Base to the West.
