The Director of Athletics Communications provides Susquehanna University's proud Division III heritage by generating regional and national visibility for its student-athletes and 23 varsity sport programs to internal and external audiences. Responsible for ensuring effective collection, organization, documentation and dissemination of information and all statistics related to Susquehanna athletic events.
Bachelor's Degree and experience in a college setting with a broad-based program. Media relations experience preferred. Strong organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including a good sense of humor. Familiarity with Stat Crew or similar NCAA statistical software, Microsoft Word and Excel. Working knowledge of Sidearm website management systems, Creative Suite products - specifically InDesign and Photoshop. Experience with production of videos using iMovie or Adobe Premiere Pro. Sports knowledge essential. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. Some travel and a valid Pennsylvania driver's license required. Evidence of positive attitude and the ability to get along with others is required.
