The Olivet College Athletic Department is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Athletic Trainer position. Assistant Athletic Trainers will assist the Head Athletic Trainer in providing the highest level of care to Olivet College athletes. Olivet College has 24 intercollegiate teams who compete in the MIAA. Successful candidates will report directly to the Head Athletic Trainer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Injury recognition, evaluation, and treatment for assigned teams •Physician referrals •Secondary Insurance documentation •Effective Communication with staff members, coaches, and administrators •Documentation of medical records •Administrative responsibilities as designated by Head Athletic Trainer

Required: BOC certification, Eligible for Michigan athletic training licensure, Current CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer, Valid driver’s license.
Preferred: Masters’ degree in related field. Knowledge of Vivature electronic medical records program. 1-3 years of collegiate athletic training experience. Experience communicating effectively with staff, coaches, physicians, and athletic personnel.
