Cedar Crest College, an NCAA Division III member, is accepting applications for a graduate assistant for track & field. The graduate assistant track & field coach will be responsible for assisting the head coach in all facets of the job: practice planning, meet preparation, recruiting responsibilities, fundraising and other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. The GA will also assist in the day-to-day operations of the cross country program and athletic department including developing and implementing initiatives that best serve the student population. This position includes on campus housing for qualified applicants, 12 credits annually and an annual stipend.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, collegiate track & field experience, preferably in the sprint events, and acceptance to a Cedar Crest College graduate program are required. Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills are preferred. In addition, a valid driver’s license, applicable clearances, CPR, First Aid and AED certifications are required.
