Seton Hill University seeks an Assistant Coach for Women’s Softball in either a part-time coach or part-time graduate assistant capacity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting the head coach with the organization, planning and coaching of practice and games; evaluation, identification and recruitment of qualified student-athletes in compliance with NCAA, PSAC and Seton Hill rules and regulations; assist with the planning and implementation of fundraising activities (camps, clinics, etc.) and promotions; commitment to skill instruction and student-athlete development both on and off the field, which includes monitoring academic and athletic development of student-athletes; other duties as assigned.

A bachelor’s degree, previous coaching (all levels) or collegiate playing experience and a valid driver’s license is required. Incumbent must be able to work nights, weekends and travel with the team. Acceptance into one of Seton Hill University’s eligible graduate programs is required for graduate assistant applicants. Preferred qualifications include advance knowledge in pitching, hitting or fielding and the ability to teach at least one of the three disciplines.
