The case manager will work with the psychologist and other care providers to design treatment plans, set up referrals and choose the most suitable resources for a student-athlete's specific mental health needs. The case manager will be responsible for follow up and documenting progress on each student-athlete. The case manager will also help to implement the drug testing procedures for student-athletes. The case manager works collaboratively with student-athletes to develop a unique treatment plan based on the individual's recovery goals. The treatment plan addresses the following life domains: Mental Health; Alcohol/Drug Issues; Activities of Daily Living; Work/School; Family/Natural Support; Income/Finances; Social/Friends/Fun; Legal; Medical and Dental; Housing/Shelter; Cultural/Spiritual; etc Applications accepted until filled. Bachelor’s degree required with one year experience in higher education or closely related setting with a demonstrated knowledge of systems and systems delivery.
