The Graduate Assistant Coach for Men’s Lacrosse will be responsible for, but not limited to, the integration of Christian faith, recruitment, retention and academic success of the student-athletes. In addition to coaching, this position assists in maintaining control and oversight of budgets and scheduling of athletic competitions, and other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Coach. The Graduate Assistant Coach will be responsible to help maintain compliance with all Montreat College, Appalachian Athletic Conference, and NAIA rules and regulations.

Hear and understand telephone conversations
Ability to coordinate different tasks simultaneously
Move about the campus freely (including all facilities)
Must have a clean driving record/driver's license and able/willing to drive team vans/shuttles
Articulate a clear vision for the Sports Information Department
Set goals and objectives based on the needs and capabilities of the population served
Promote student learning and development in the following areas:
Prescribe and practice ethical behavior
Where appropriate, recruit, select, supervise, and develop others in the organization
Manage financial resources
Plan, budget for, and evaluate personnel and programs

Additional Salary Information: The graduate assistant will receive a tuition voucher for the Master's of Science in Management and Leadership from Montreat College. A monthly stipend will also be provided.
