The Sports Turf Manager is a vital support function to our coaches and student-athletes. The preparation of safe practice and competition fields are an essential component in giving our student-athletes the best possible opportunity to succeed in their sport. The commitment to providing aesthetically pleasing fields and facilities is very important to the long term success of our teams. The person hired for this position must be committed to providing quality results, understand the importance of paying close attention to details, be an effective communicator, and promote a positive working culture.
Flexibility and willingness to work weekends and evenings. Must comply with NCAA, SEC and University rules, regulations and policies.
3 years of experience, and Commercial Applicator License and Category 20 Sports Turf Certification.
