Cedar Crest College is seeking a Head Lacrosse Coach who will also serve as the Recreation and Wellness Coordinator. The coach will develop, recruit and administer a competitive women’s lacrosse program consistent with the student-athlete philosophy of NCAA Division III athletics. Coaches are also expected to develop, coordinate and manage an active recruitment and retention program for lacrosse student athletes.
The Recreation and Wellness Coordinator develops and implements campus recreation programs and services that facilitate students transition to college, build campus community and promote school spirit. This position also is responsible for creating and implementing programs for the purpose of educating and engaging students, faculty and staff in healthy lifestyle choices.
A Bachelor's degree and prior experience coaching lacrosse at the high school or college level is required. Candidates must also have demonstrated success at effectively recruiting and retaining student-athletes. Prior experience in recreation and wellness strongly preferred. CPR, First Aid and AED certifications are also required as is a valid driver’s license.
