The Assistant Coach will assist the head coach in the following areas: student athlete development, softball instruction, academic advising, game and practice preparation, equipment, field maintenance, recruiting, camps, and fundraising. This position will be directly involved with the organization and administration of our Softball Camps, both winter and summer.
Bachelor's Degree required. Collegiate playing experience. High school or college coaching experience.
-Demonstrated knowledge of the rules and regulations of the MAC and the NCAA -Attention to details -Ability to multi-tasks and work in a fast-paced environment -Excellent organizational and administrative skills -Excellent verbal, written and oral communication on all levels. -Ability to represent the department and University in a friendly, courteous and professional manner -Ability to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other office equipment -Demonstrated professional conduct and ethical behavior at all times
