Essential Duties The University of Wyoming is accepting applications for the position of Producer, Creative Video. This position will report to the Assistant Athletics Director for Creative Services and assist in the day-to-day operations of the Creative Services Department. Duties and Responsibilities include:
•Create engaging video and graphic content for Wyoming Athletics social media platforms, video boards and website.
•Produce exciting pumper/hype videos and recruiting content for various formats, including video boards, social media, website and television.
•Work with Wyoming Athletics teams and programs to tell the story of our student athletes through narratives, features and in-depth interviews.
•Actively participate in weekly content development meetings with Marketing/Branding, Athletics Communications and Social Media departments.
•Occasionally travel with UW teams to athletic competitions to collect video and create content.
•Remain current with emerging trends in video production with the intent to apply them to Wyoming Athletics video production projects.
•Work with other Creative Services staff to develop new strategies/ideas to put UW Athletics on the forefront of college athletics video production.
•Work with Director of New Media to create and post content on a regular basis.
•Assist in training/supervision of student Interns and freelance employees.
•Assist in archiving video footage of all UW sports.
•Occasionally take part in live game-day productions (both in-venue video board shows and streamed broadcasts).
•Maintains thorough knowledge of and adheres to all applicable University, Mountain West Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
•Assist with other duties/projects as assigned/directed.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Video Production or similar/applicable field. • A minimum of 1 year of video production experience. • Experience with non-linear editing system (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid, ETC). • Experience with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop. • Camera experience required.
• Video production experience within collegiate or professional athletics. • Experience in creating pumper/hype and intro videos for video boards. • Lighting for video. • Shooting both interviews and live action with DSLR and Cinema Style Cameras. • Sports camera experience highly preferred. • Successful candidate will be able to act independently or as part of a production team. • Strong knowledge of editing and story-telling fundamentals.
