This is a full-time benefit eligible opportunity. Under limited supervision and direction, the Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for supporting the Head Athletic Trainer in all aspects of the Sports Medicine Program for the College. Using independent judgment and discretion, the Assistant Athletic Trainer has responsibility in such critical areas of prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation, referral and documentation of athletic injuries. Additional duties include budget management, scheduling, compliance with NCAA and NESCAC rules and regulations and internal policies and procedures, and ensuring that the overall integrity and image of the program meets the College’s high level of excellence.
Assistant Athletic Trainers will be responsible for travel with two sport assignments during the academic year and summer camp coverage. Assistant Athletic Trainers will also be required to perform other reasonable job-related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in an appropriate area of specialization and Certification by the BOC as an ATC is required. Licensure within New York State required upon acceptance of position. A Master’s Degree and CSCS certification are preferred. Evening and weekend work is necessary. Candidate must have a valid active driver’s license. A successful background check is mandatory.
