Young Harris College invites applications for a full-time Assistant Athletic Director of Compliance to begin immediately. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a related field. A minimum of two years’ experience is preferred.
The Assistant Athletics Director of Compliance serves as a member of the Department of Athletics and must be committed to the standard of institutional control for the College’s NCAA D II intercollegiate athletics program, which consists of 18 sports and 375 student-athletes. The position reports to the Director of Athletics and works in conjunction with Department of Athletics to implement NCAA, Peach Belt Conference, Gulf South Conference, Great Lakes Valley Conference and Young Harris College regulations.
Requirements and Responsibilities
The individual will ensure the College is compliant with all NCAA rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. They will certify on a semester basis the athletic eligibility of all student athletes, work in conjunction with Financial Aid, Registrar, and Admissions Offices and will serve as a deputy coordinator for Title IX.
