Ball State University’s Intercollegiate Athletics seeks a Director of Athletic Compliance. Responsibilities include: coordinate and direct a program which protects the integrity of Ball State University through compliance with NCAA, Mid-American conference, and University regulations by student-athletes, coaches, Ball State University employees, and representatives of Ball State University’s athletic interests.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Three years of experience in NCAA Division I compliance in a university or athletics environment. Experience in preparation of APR and GSR. Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; working knowledge of NCAA programs; excellent organizational skills, ability to make informed decisive decisions in a fast-paced and demanding environment; knowledge and familiarity with the NCAA Division I manual; possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the university’s auto fleet policy.
Candidates must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree or Juris Doctor degree. Five years of experience in NCAA Division I athletics compliance. Familiarity with Banner program, LSDBI, Compliance Assistance and JumpForward.
