Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach New Jersey Institute of Technology
New Jersey Institute of Technology, a NCAA Division I institution and a member of the ASUN Conference is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach. The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach with the day-to-day operations of the program. Responsibilities include: the recruitment of qualified student-athletes consistent with the competitive requirements of a DI program and the academic standards of the University; assist with practices and the preparation and implementation of game strategies. Additional responsibilities include: managing team travel, oversight of team athletic apparel & equipment, assisting with scheduling, and coordinating community initiatives. The Assistant Coach must be committed to NCAA & University rules compliance. Additional duties include instructing a physical education activities class and other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Essential qualifications include a bachelor's degree and collegiate playing or coaching experience. All applications must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, process working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, and demonstrate a commitment of student athlete welfare and athletics excellence in a rigorous academic environment.
