The assistant director of digital media will be responsible for developing bold and intentional content for Purdue Athletics digital platforms and report to the director of digital media. The candidate will also serve as the marketing and communications liaison to the varsity men’s and women’s tennis programs.
Bachelor's degree and 2 years experience coordinating marketing/communications campaigns or similar. Excellent (oral & written) communications and interpersonal skills. Accountability and ability to meet established deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work evenings/weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel out of state. Preferred: Understanding of Associated Press writing style. Background using a website/mobile app CMS. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including, but not limited to, Photoshop and Premiere. Knowledge of all NCAA and Big Ten Conference rules pertaining to broadcasting, media and publicity.
