The Head Coach recruits student athletes, organizes and conducts practices, attends meetings and events related to the athletics department and team achievement, and performs other duties as assigned by the Athletics Director.
A bachelor's degree and previous coaching and/or playing experience required, preferably at the collegiate level. Equivalent coaching experience may be considered. CPR/First Aid and AED certifications are strongly encouraged. Preference will be given to candidates with intercollegiate experience.

A member of the National Junior College Athletic Association, Harford Community College currently sponsors 13 varsity sports that compete at the Division I level. The intercollegiate athletic program provides the opportunity for eligible student-athletes to represent the institution in high-level competition, while enhancing their educational experience in areas of skill development, teamwork and sportsmanship. The teams also provide spectators and fans institutional pride as a rallying point for the college community and the Harford County area. These teams compete in the NJCAA's Region 20 in addition to conference competition in the Maryland Junior College Athletic Association, commonly referred to as the MD JUCO Conference.
