The University of Pittsburgh is seeking applicants for an Assistant Track & Field Coach.
Responsibilities for this position include assisting in all aspects of administration and operation of a highly competitive Division I collegiate men’s and women’s track and field and cross country program. These responsibilities may include but are not limited to assisting with practice in the areas of distance runners and evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
In addition, the applicant must possess the following skills: high level of organization, basic computer skills, and the ability to organize all facets of team travel and track meets. The candidate must be able to work amicably with students, parents, administrators, and faculty within the rules and regulations of the University, the Atlantic Coast Conference, and the NCAA. This is a full-time, 12-month position with University benefits.
