The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor seeks a Manager, Stadium Graphics and A/V Operations.
Job Duties: Manages the Crusader Stadium video projection and sound equipment. Creates static and video graphics that will enhance the fan experience at university football games and other events. Directs and creates specialized, high quality video projects for sports highlights, short documentaries, and sponsored content for social media and other outside sources. Develops a detailed draft script for the game announcer to include required NCAA and university announcements, sponsor advertisements, and cues for the music bed as needed during time outs or for ads. In accordance with UMHB procedures, hires, trains and supervises part-time employees (including student workers responsible for the game day camera work and video/camera playback. May serve as liaison to assigned vendors and independent contractors.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required.
A minimum of two (2) years employment experience in stadium video projection and sound equipment management and graphic design or closely related experience is required.
Must have a proficient knowledge base regarding sports broadcast live productions.
Must have a proficient knowledge base regarding the sport of collegiate football (i.e. rules, rapid graphic response to field action, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) required. Proficiency in Adobe Creator Suite for Windows or Mac graphics design software is required.
Proficiency in project management/scheduling and publication software (Adobe, FrontPage or similar) is required.
Must be proficient in general office equipment operation.
Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
