RESPONSIBILITIES: Proven personal and professional integrity and excellent coaching, recruiting and teaching skills necessary. Will be responsible for and administer all aspects of the Track and Field/Cross County program as directed by the head coach. Teaching responsibilities will include personal wellness and professional activity classes. The successful candidate is expected to create an atmosphere favorable to moral, athletic and academic development of student-athletes. Previous coaching and/or competitive experience at the collegiate level preferred, along with competent computer skills. Applicants should have an understanding of the NCAA Division II philosophy and the role of athletics in a liberal arts academic setting. Additional duties assigned as needed by Department of Athletics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree required in Health, Physical Education or equivalent field required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Coaching experience, recruiting experience and demonstrated knowledge of the rules and regulations of NCAA track & field.
