George Mason University Intercollegiate Athletics invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach, Women's Lacrosse on the Fairfax, Va., campus. This is a full-time, 12-month professional faculty position. George Mason University is a member of the Atlantic 10 (A10) and operates a Division I Lacrosse Program.
Responsibilities include assisting with the operation of the program, including:
Recruiting quality student athletes;
Organizing and training athletes for competition;
Monitoring and supporting the academic success of athletes;
Planning comprehensive pre- and post-season conditioning programs;
Preparing and managing travel;
Undertaking public relations and social media initiatives; and
Carrying out other relative administrative duties.
Must have an advanced degree or training and work experience at a level that equates to an advanced degree.
Experience leading a group
High level playing experience
Quality writing skills
