UCF Athletics at the University of Central Florida, an NCAA Division I institution and American Athletic Conference (The American), is seeking applications for the position of Football #Content Designer.
The selected candidate will assist the Football Program and Brand Advancement team in the creation of creative digital and print content. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
In-House Materials – Team collateral materials including but not limited to camp brochures, clinic marketing materials, stationary, team clothing, internal documents, team schedules, etc.; must have a working knowledge of the printing process, digital photography, and techniques for use in motion graphics. Supervise creative photo shoots of players.
Recruiting Materials – Create compelling designs and infographics that effectively promote UCF football. Create and organize a working system for the production of recruiting materials and the resources needed. Design mailings, social media, and personal recruiting campaigns.
Game day – Photograph the game day atmosphere in order to produce content that shows off the most unique gameday experience in college football. Capture and collect content during games to use as resources for recruiting, marketing and coaching staff materials.
Marketing Strategy and collaboration – Develop and implement a theme/strategy that is cohesive with the branding of UCF Athletics across all platforms. Work closely with the UCF Athletics #Content Team to conceptualize, create and execute Football's Brand Guidelines
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years appropriate experience. Appropriate graduate school coursework or master’s degree may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Prefer demonstrated graphics experience in Photography, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. Strong attention to detail and communication (written/verbal) skills also preferred. As a UCF Athletics staff member, the selected candidate will be a person of integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules as they apply to the UCF Athletics program.
Note: the person selected for this position will be employed by UCF Athletics, which is a Direct Support Organization (DSO) of the University of Central Florida.
