This position is a Division III Ethnic Minority and Woman's Internship Grant from the NCAA. The position will provide direct support to the Natatorium Coordinator and Associate Athletics Director, essentially serving as the overall building manager, and will assist in facility oversight and operations of new natatorium. The natatorium is a brand-new, stand alone 44,000 square foot building, housing a 40 meter pool, locker rooms, a wet classroom, dry land training room, athletic training room, and spectator seating.
Natatorium spicific duties include oversight of all scheduling, payroll for lifeguards, user log, custodial support, equipment maintenance, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, handling all facility requests, and enacting facility use agreements.
Event management. Serves as the leader of Aquatics event management, primary point of contact for all home aquatic events, open swims, group exercise classes, and club sports' usage.
Other duties and committee work as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director and Director of Athletics.
