Coastal Carolina University is currently accepting applications for the following position: Assistant Director for Compliance (Student Services Program Coordinator I) in the President's Office.
Duties include, but are not limited to: performing preliminary evaluations on all prospective student-athletes that sport programs recruit; evaluating and coordinating all official visit and unofficial visit forms within the ARMS software; monitoring and maintaining recruiting and telephone logs within the ARMS software; managing tryout processes for all sport programs; assisting with book scholarship disbursement and retrieval; assisting the Director of Compliance with duties as liaison with University Housing, Admissions and the Bookstore; assisting with initial eligibility with incoming student-athletes; assisting with the maintenance of the compliance website; assisting with updating compliance manual and applicable forms; assisting with monitoring of athletics program practices; and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements: A bachelor's degree is required. Experience working with NCAA compliance at a Division I institution, conference office or the NCAA is preferred. Additionally, a successful candidate should possess excellent written and oral communication skills; attention to detail; excellent computer skills; demonstrated knowledge of NCAA compliance rules and regulations; basic knowledge, understanding and adherence of NCAA, conference and University rules and guidelines.
