St. Bonaventure University, an NCAA Division-I Institution and a member of the Atlantic-10 Conference, is seeking applications for the part-time position of Graduate Assistant Coach for Women’s Lacrosse.
Job Responsibilities: •Effectively assist the head and assistant coach in executing all practices, lifts, and training sessions and actively instruct in all games and practices. •Assist head and assistant coach in identifying qualified prospective student-athletes and potentially communicate with recruits, parents, and coaches. •Efficiently utilize Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Photoshop, and all recruiting databases. •Assist head and assistant coach with all film duties (uploading and posting to Krossover, scouting opponents, etc.). •Provide 1on1 Instruction of Goalkeepers, including providing time for individual sessions. •Organize and arrange all meals, as well as assist in operations and details for team travel •Help foster an inquisitive and forward-thinking work environment •Commit to the well-being and growth of our student-athletes •Demonstrate competitive coaching skills •Knowledge of NCAA student-athlete academic eligibility requirements and knowledge of NCAA recruiting rules •Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community •A desire to coach at the NCAA Division-I level
St. Bonaventure will provide a stipend of $7,200.00 plus up to 15 hours/academic year if accepted into the Graduate School. On-campus housing may be available. Successful candidate must pass a DMV clearance.
