Job Description: The Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with the overall management of the volleyball program including, practice planning, recruitment, player development, and implementing game strategy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Assist the head coach with managing a Division III Volleyball program, including coaching during the non-traditional season (spring) and the traditional season (fall). Responsible for assisting the head coach with the recruitment, supervision and coaching of NCAA Division III student-athletes, under the guidelines of the college, NECC (New England Collegiate Conference) and NCAA policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
At least one year of previous successful coaching or playing experience at the college, semi-professional, professional, or international level is required.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; if you hold a visa, your visa status must allow you to work at Lesley University.
