Lee University, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Gulf South Conference, is currently accepting applications for a Head Women's Lacrosse Coach. We are looking for a talented and experienced coach to fully develop a women's lacrosse program. The successful candidate must have a strong commitment to both the mission of Lee University and the academic success of the student athletes. This full time position will report to the Director of Athletics.
The head coach will be responsible for managing all aspects of the program including:
Coaching the team during traditional and non-traditional segments.
Planning, organizing and supervising practices.
Actively identifying, evaluating and recruiting student athletes.
Exemplify a strong commitment to the academic achievement of student athletes by monitoring and actively encouraging players to succeed in the classroom.
Work with NCAA, conference and departmental guidelines.
Complete special projects as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree (master's preferred), demonstrated success in coaching lacrosse, preferably at the collegiate level.
Effective communication skills and a demonstrated ability to produce a competitive women's lacrosse team is important. Commitment to NCAA rules compliance and Lee University's mission are essential.
