The Assistant Athletic Director for Annual Fund and Ticketing works with the Deputy Director of Athletics in ongoing fundraising efforts for Intercollegiate Athletics at SIUE, providing an integrated outreach through all mediums (licensing, branding, marketing, sales, and solicitation.) The Assistant Athletic Director will oversee special fundraising projects assigned by the Deputy Director and Athletic Director such as the Pink Zone, the Annual Fund, and the Red and Black Gala. He or she will develop and implement fundraising initiatives and events, and will work to strengthen and cultivate relationships with university personnel, students, alumni, and the local community. The incumbent will also oversee all ticket operations including databases, renewal process, and serve as customer service representative to all ticket holders. Additional duties for the Assistant Athletic Director will include:
Act as liaison for the department with various university units and constituents outside the university.
Assist in development and implementation of programs, policies and objectives related to marketing, ticketing, fundraising, and other department objectives.
Comply with University, Conference and NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
Additional duties in support of the department’s mission and goals.
Sport supervision may also be included in the position responsibilities depending on the final candidate’s skills, experience and interests.

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in sports marketing, fundraising, and/or ticket operations (specifically experience in collegiate athletics).
Must also be proficient in Adobe Creative suite a primary tool for fundraising via direct mail campaigns, and product messaging.
Must demonstrate ability to analyze operations, provide information and suggest improvements/changes.
Outstanding time management and multi-tasking skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position.
Possess managerial/supervisory skills needed to make decisions, set deadlines, plan and schedule work flow, provide customer service and foresee for future.
Familiarity with and ability to adhere to University and NCAA policies and procedures.
Master’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Athletics operations related to fundraising.
Experience with ticket management/sales software.
