Summary Description: Roles and Responsibilities •Recruitment/Evaluation of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes •Assist with specific on and off campus recruitment opportunities as determined by the head coach. •Conduct and supervise practices and player conditioning as required •Provide scouting reports and film breakdown of future opponents •Assist with the preparation and implementation of game strategies •Coordinate team travel arrangements •Provide appropriate leadership, direction, and supervision relevant to the academic progress and personal development of student-athletes within the Piedmont volleyball program •Exemplify excellent leadership and proper code of conduct throughout all phases of the competitive season and pre-and-post season. •Other duties as determined by head coach
Preferred Skills/Other Experience •NCAA Division III playing and/or coaching experience preferred •Experience coordinating strength and conditioning sessions preferred •Coaching and/or playing experience as a setter.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort •Hours will vary depending on practice, game, and travel schedules. •Must be willing to work irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
