Head Athletic Trainer/Coordinator of Sports Medicine – Ferris State University
Head Athletic Trainer/Coordinator of Sports Medicine -- serving as the athletic department's designated Health Care Administrator responsible for establishing and managing policies and procedures designed to prevent, treat, repair and rehabilitate athletic injuries. Oversee area's annual operating budget, recruitment of team physicians and serve as department liaison to all medical services needed. Will work closely with coaches, administrators, athletes and parents in the process.
Required: Bachelor's degree with three years full-time experience as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the collegiate level or one (1) year as the primary administrator of a collegiate sports medicine program. NATA BOC Certification, First Aid, and CPR certifications. State of Michigan athletic training license or eligible.
