The Graduate Assistant Coach will serve as an Assistant Coach for the Women’s Golf Program. The Graduate Assistant Coach will assist in all facets of the day-to-day operation of the Division II golf program. They will adhere to all policies set forth by the Regis Golf Program, Regis University, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, and the NCAA. The ideal starting date for the position will be July 15th 2018.
Duties: will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist in the facilitation of all practices and conditioning
Assist in all recruiting evaluations and hosting of prospective student athletes
Monitoring Academic Standing of student-athletes
Will travel to all women’s golf events and serve as coach if Head Coach is not traveling
Assist with Community Service, and Fundraising
Bachelor’s Degree (required)
Strong organization & computer skills
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
At least two years of playing experience at the collegiate level or coaching experience
CPR/First Aid Certified (or ability to obtain)
This position requires passage of NCAA recruiting test, possession of valid driver’s license, and passage of a background check. We also expect a commitment of at least two years and/or completion of a master’s degree. The position requires evening and weekend work with limited summer hours.
Additional Salary Information: $15,000 in scholarship per year to cover tuition and living expenses.
