Regis University’s Department of Athletics is seeking applicants for a Graduate Assistant position in its athletic department. The graduate assistant will provide essential support services for a 12 sport NCAA Division II athletic department.
The graduate assistant’s position will be involved in all areas of the department’s external relations. The position will include, but will not be limited to, developing and implementing a robust group ticket sales program to increase revenue for the athletic department. Assisting in game day tasks related to group ticket sales and sponsorship fulfillment. Furthermore, the graduate assistant will assist in annual fundraising tasks including updating of collateral, processing of gifts, fulfillment of donor benefits and other tasks as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director of Advancement. Lastly, the position will serve as an event manager overseeing work studies and in game promotions in addition to assisting with sponsorship fulfillment including video boards and game day promotions.
Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into a Regis University graduate program. Must have proven written and oral communications skills. Sales experience a plus.
Candidates should possess strong writing/editing skills, attention to detail and a willingness to work hard and learn. They will have to be able to multi-task in a setting with frequent interruptions. Prior experience with Photoshop and InDesign a plus as well as prior experience in a college athletic department setting, is highly preferred.
Additional Salary Information: The graduate assistant position is a two or three?year assignment beginning with the 2018?19 academic year. The graduate assistant will receive a total of $15,000 over the calendar year that can be $7,500 each semester to cover tuition and living expenses.
