Frostburg State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a full-time Women’s Basketball Intern position to begin summer 2018. This is a 40-hour-per-week, one-year internship which is renewable for an additional year based on performance. Hourly rate $10.33 with limited benefits included.
FSU boasts 21 varsity sports (10 men/11 women) at the NCAA Division III level that compete in the Capital Athletic Conference and the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The Bobcat women’s basketball program was started in the 1964-65 season and since then has accumulated more than 700 wins with six NCAA Tournament and eight ECAC Tournament appearances. The Bobcats have won 20 or more games in a season eight times and have won 15 or more games 26 times.
Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach with coaching and supervision of the Women’s Basketball Team. Help monitor and advise student-athletes to ensure academic success. Assist in evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one year of coaching or other related work experience. Previous competing experience at the collegiate level.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and/or two years of coaching experience.
