UCF Athletics at the University of Central Florida, an NCAA Division I institution and American Athletic Conference (AAC) member, is seeking applications for the position of Head Coach, Women's Track & Field / Cross Country.
Selected candidate will oversee the management of a nationally-competitive Women's Track & Field / Cross Country program, with emphasis on academic and athletic excellence. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: administration of competition and practices; scheduling; budget management; recruitment, development and retention of quality student-athletes; supervision of staff; and participation in professional meetings, public relations, community service and fund-raising events.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years coaching experience at the collegiate level or above. Prefer successful head coaching experience at the NCAA Division I level or higher. Demonstrated ability to recruit and sign student-athletes with potential for academic and athletic success also preferred. As a member of the UCF Athletics staff, the selected candidate will be a person of integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules as they apply to the UCF Athletics program.
