The Director of Creative Video conceptualizes, records and edits professional video and motion graphics packages to serve the department’s branding objectives. The Director of Creative Video will serve as the lead for digital production and will interface with various internal and external constituencies including, but not limited to, Athletic Communications, and the Army A Club (Fundraising).
•Production of professional video and motion graphics on social media outlets in addition to in-arena/stadium venues.
•Support marketing campaigns though the development of video packages for online platforms that promote ticket sales, fundraising campaigns, upcoming events, or additional departmental initiatives.
•Conceptualize and lead initiatives that showcase and promote the cadet-athlete experience at the United States Military Academy.
•Serve as the staff resource for the latest trends in video style, production, resolution, mobile-compatibility and strategy.
•Must be a resourceful and collaborative team leader able to develop strong working relationships both within the team and across post.
•Ability to work games, nights/evenings, weekends and holidays.
•Supervision of 1-2 employees.
•Other duties as assigned.
High proficiency of video and motion graphics editing software, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and comparable programs.
Advanced knowledge of video and audio equipment.
Ability to work independently, set priorities and think critically.
Understanding of marketing and digital strategy, with the ability to incorporate established brand elements into video production.
Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
A bachelor's degree and 3-4 years of increasing videography experience with an agency, consumer brand or sports and entertainment entity.
