University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, an NCAA D-III institution located in Southern Wisconsin, seeks qualified applicants for an anticipated opening for a women’s basketball graduate assistant coaching position. The individual will serve as an assistant to the head coach and responsibilities will include recruiting, game preparation, practice organization, scheduling, assisting head coach in all phases of student-athlete mentoring and evaluation, academic monitoring, and other administrative duties as assigned. This is a two-year assistantship with a start date of August 22, 2018. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree, have previous basketball playing or coaching experience, possess a valid driver’s license, and have a clean driving record. Successful candidate must be accepted into a UW-Whitewater graduate program. A full graduate assistantship for the 2018-2019 academic year is $10,559 and fringe benefits (such as health, dental and life insurance). Regular incidental fees charged by the University are paid by the student.
