The Sport Drug Testing (SDT) Program Manager is a key contributor to Drug Free Sport’s purpose of ensuring fairness in sport and health and safety for athletes with a passion to provide high level of service and commitment to excellence to collegiate and university clients. The SDT Program Manager will operate in a fast-paced work environment, contribute creative solutions to challenges, and effectively communicate with team members and clients to achieve any mission, any time, with zero fatal flaws. Contributions include coordinating testing events with collegiate sport drug-testing clients and collection contractors; educating clients on the various services offered by Drug Free Sport; communicating drug-testing logistics with collectors; and managing department invoicing.
To successfully perform this role, the individual must be analytical, an effective communicator, organized and self-directed. He or she must uphold the company vision, possess strong integrity, and have a desire to serve our clients, contracted collectors and staff. Essential requirements are strong communication and project management skills; ability to manage multiple projects in a time sensitive environment; highly credible, ethical and persuasive interpersonal skills; and proficient working with the Microsoft Suite, specifically Outlook and Excel. The person in this role must have the minimum education level of a Bachelor’s degree. Passing a pre-employment screening, including background check, drug test, transcript verification, and confidentiality agreement, is a requirement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer collection services for collegiate drug-testing clients including database management; scheduling, random selections and roster generation; and quality control.
Monitor quality-of-service issues including supplies, transportation, drug-testing results, and deficiencies.
Manage accounting services for collegiate drug-testing clients including: - Maintain accounting database in conjunction with Accounting department. - Record collection company invoice information in designated databases for client records. - Review monthly laboratory invoices for accuracy; notify the Senior Director of Sport Drug Testing of discrepancies for follow-up.
Team with Senior Director of Sport Drug Testing by providing client feedback to identify new value-added services and products to clients and prospective clients; and for special projects as needed.
Maintain certified collector status for applicable clients and provide specimen collections occasionally.
Serve in the absence of other team members when necessary.
Promote services by attending meetings, trade shows and other identified events.
Partner with the Office Manager/HR Generalist by providing telephone roll-over coverage and door security coverage due to absence or unavailability.
