Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking a Coordinator of Athletics Programs, Director of Operations for the Men's and Women's Rugby Team. The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the men's and women's Rugby team. Such responsibilities will include: travel arrangements; filming and streaming of all games and filming practices as instructed; video analysis of games and practice to develop competition and practice strategies in collaboration with the coaching staff; develop, update and manage social media content and team websites to promote and provide publicity of team performance; oversee budget and reconcile team expenses. Plan, market and manage camps, recruiting activities and special events; support alumni relations through correspondence, direct mailing and newsletters; other duties as assigned. This job will be filled as a level 1, or level 2, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 1. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Candidates must have excellent computer skills, office experience, communication and interpersonal skills. Prior playing experience, coaching experience, video analysis experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with the coaching staff, student athletes, administrators and alumni are preferred. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
